'All Age Worship' is a shorter service without Holy Communion(with the exception of Easter and other major festivals). The aim of 'All Age Worship' is to be child friendly.
Children are invited to sit near the front so they can more easily be involved. Some of the older children from the Ark Club do the readings and prayers and all the children are encouraged to participate in the service. They are certainly not expected to be seen and not heard!
| Reflective Services : What is a reflective service? A space for Worship, silent reflection and prayer with the help of music and readings. It usually lasts between 30 and 45 minutes and is an act of worship very different from other services.
The next Reflective service will be held at Sandhutton church at 7.30pm on Thursday 19th August. | After Service Refreshments : First come, first served! | Whether it is Parish Communion, All Age Worship or a 10.15am service celebrating a religious festival everyone is welcome to stay after the service and we hope that visitors will join us .
Please don't rush off after the service as after service fellowship is very important. You are sure of a warm welcome if you join us for a chat over a cup of tea / coffee and biscuits - and there is juice for the youngsters.
